Bruno Bockorny, MD

Lead Oncology Advocate
Dr. Bruno Bockorny is an academic medical oncologist with a focus on clinical trials and early-phase drug development for patients with advanced solid tumors. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and serves as a staff medical oncologist and Clinical Director of the Phase 1 Clinical Trials Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a major teaching affiliate of Harvard.


In these roles, Dr. Bockorny has led over 20 clinical trials as Principal Investigator, including investigator-initiated, NIH-funded, and industry-sponsored studies. His research centers on uncovering mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapy, with the goal of developing more effective, durable cancer treatments. His work has been published in leading journals such as Nature Medicine and Clinical Cancer Research.

Dr. Bockorny is the recipient of several honors, including the prestigious Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. His long-term mission is to help bring forward practice-changing therapies that improve outcomes for patients with hard-to-treat cancers.

Erica Cross, PA

PA

Erica is a board certified Physician Assistant. She obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, LA. She began practicing in 2011 and has worked clinically in Orthopedics and Dermatology. The majority of her career has been spent in a Dermatology practice where she assisted in Mohs surgery, treating various types of skin cancer. She also teaches in the medical simulation department at the University of South Alabama and enjoys every aspect of medical education.
