Jennifer is originally from Buffalo, NY. In 2006 she completed her undergraduate Physician Assistant training at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. By 2011 she graduated with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies through the University of Nebraska. As a practicing PA since 2006, Jennifer has worked in various care environments. She worked in the Division of Thoracic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital from 2006 through 2014, caring for patients from their initial consultation in clinic, through the OR, and in the post-operative units. She also worked at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in 2011 in the Melanoma division. After leaving thoracic surgery, Jennifer returned to caring for oncology patients through the Medical University of South Carolina, Division of Hematology/Oncology through the end of 2019. She has experience in most solid tumor specialities, but focused mostly in genitourinary malignancies, and has extensive clinical trial and precision medicine experience from this role.
In early 2020, Jennifer transitioned to her current role in a high-volume urgent care setting. Outside of work Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and living on the coast in Charleston, SC. She has two young daughters and a black lab named Perry! She looks forward to returning to oncology with this role and being able to focus on patient education and support.
