With over 20 years of experience in leading complex healthcare startups and tech ventures, Michael brings a holistic view of healthcare ecosystems, from patient advocacy to payer strategies.
Before joining N1X10, Michael was the General Manager and Executive Vice President at Advance Medical, Inc., where he pioneered the Expert Medical Opinion category. Here, he managed a diverse team of healthcare professionals and a suite of care management services ranging from telehealth to virtual medical homes, leading to a successful exit to Teladoc Health in 2018.
Mike is also the founder of Spadework Health, LLC, a consultancy and investment fund dedicated to advancing point solutions for employer health plans. Here, he scouted and mentored emerging healthcare technologies, equipping them for success in the third-party payor ecosystem. Prior to these roles, Mike held various positions in biopharmaceutical companies like Biogen Idec, Onyx Pharmaceutical, and Amgen. His broad experience encompasses all aspects of healthcare.
In his spare time, Michael is a dedicated hockey, lacrosse, and soccer dad.
Michael holds an MBA from Boston University and a dual BA in Economics and BS in Biochemistry from the University of California at Davis.
